About Evolution: Dino Dudes
The gameplay of The Humans has similarities to Lode Runner and Lemmings. Your job in this action puzzler is to help prehistoric man to evolve by helping them discover tools, the wheel, weapons, or even fire. Each level in the game will have a given task to help in this, and you are allotted a number of characters who must accomplish the task. The player can switch from person to person while moving the characters around each scrolling puzzle, and teamwork is essential to success.

Evolution: Dino Dudes on Wikipedia
The Humans is a puzzle-platform game developed by Imagitec Design in Dewsbury, England and originally published by Mirage Technologies for the Amiga in May 1992. It was ported to other home computers and consoles. The goal of the game varies per level but usually revolves around bringing at least one of the player-controlled humans to the designated end area marked by a colored tile. Doing this requires players taking advantage of the tribe's ability to build a ladder and use tools such as spears, torches, wheels, ropes and a witch doctor in later levels.

A rebranded Amiga puzzle game in the launch window of a console sold on a bit-count arms race.
This is Imagitec's 1992 game The Humans under a different name — same developer, same design, rebranded for the Jaguar. You lead a tribe of Cro-Magnons up the evolutionary ladder, Lemmings by way of Lode Runner: deliberate, fiddly, and one of your tribe is ending up as a step ladder. A decent puzzle game, and an extraordinarily strange choice for a launch window whose entire campaign was "Do the Math."
The launch context is the story: the November 1993 test market offered exactly two games, and by December the shelf held four — a flawed 3D tech demo, a mediocre shooter, a 1990 arcade port, and this. Nothing on it supported the marketing.
