About Lemmings
This port of Lemmings saw a pretty heavy graphics downgrade, with the resolution and screen size being reduced considerably. Perhaps most significant is the need to pause the game while choosing different Lemmings, which drastically affects the gameplay in a way that many believe is for the worse. The intro movie also sees a downgrade in resolution quality and the music/sfx are downgraded to 8-bit chiptune sounds.

Lemmings on Wikipedia
A lemming is a small rodent, usually found in or near the Arctic in tundra biomes. Lemmings form the subfamily Arvicolinae together with voles and muskrats, which form part of the superfamily Muroidea, which also includes rats, mice, hamsters and gerbils. They play an important role in the Arctic ecosystem, acting as grazers of mosses and grasses and as the primary prey (food) source for most Arctic carnivores. A longstanding myth claims that they exhibit herd mentality and jump off cliffs, committing mass suicide.

DMA Design's puzzle classic squeezed onto a 160×102 screen, and the platform's biggest sealed-copy premium.
The Lynx version arrived in 1993 from DMA Design themselves — the studio that would later become Rockstar North — the second Psygnosis title converted for the handheld after Shadow of the Beast, and the surprising thing is how well it survives the shrink. The Lynx's hardware scaling and its genuinely usable colour give it more room than the other handheld ports of the era got, and the levels are the real ones rather than a reduced set.
For collectors it is the sealed premium that stands out: a sealed copy trades at many times a loose cartridge, one of the widest gaps on the platform. That is exactly the situation where the packaging, not the game, is the asset — and exactly where the Lynx's reprinted-box problem lives.
Before you buy
Do not buy this one sealed without third-party grading. Lynx shrink-wrap is ordinary, resealable film, and the sealed-to-loose multiple here is large enough to fund a convincing reseal. A complete copy with matching wear across box, manual, inserts and cart is the safer buy.
