About Worms
Worms is a turn-based strategy game that combines tactical decision-making with elements of randomness. Players control teams of worms and take turns using a wide range of weapons and tools to defeat opposing teams, resulting in varied gameplay outcomes. The game offers numerous possible strategies and scenarios, contributing to high replayability. While the basic mechanics are simple, players may require some time to become familiar with controls, weapons, and tactics. Worms supports both single-player and multiplayer modes. Team17 planned on producing Worms for the Virtual Boy back in 1995. Though after a few weeks, they cancelled this plan due to the lack of interest of the publisher and the expected failure of the Virtual Boy.

The last licensed Jaguar release — 1998, two years after the console died, from a publisher keeping the lights on alone.
Team17's turn-based artillery classic needs no defense: cartoon invertebrates lobbing absurd ordnance across destructible terrain works as well now as it did then, and it supports sixteen players hot-seat — more than the console's entire four-player peripheral library manages. Telegames shipped it May 15, 1998, after Atari Corporation had ceased to exist, making it the final licensed release in the Jaguar library.

Scarce — a very late, small Telegames run — and one of the pricier licensed carts as a result. Verify Telegames-era packaging; medium risk at these values.
